The Board of Directors of a common interest development has a legal and fiduciary responsibility to maintain the community in a good state of repair. The association property values can be materially impacted by the degree of maintenance provided by the association. Each association is unique; therefore Hughes Reserves tailors each study to meet the unique needs of each association. Years of experience are employed to ensure that the analysis accurately reflects the association's maintenance responsibilities and highest standards. HUGHES RESERVES maintains regular professional liaisons with specialists in all areas of Homeowner Association matters, which can be drawn on to provide the most accurate, and competent component study possible. Mr. Hughes has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry and has provided Component Studies and worked with Common Interest Developments for over 18 years. Mr. Hughes maintains a Class B California General Contractors License and an Arizona Class B and a Class B1 General Contractors License (California Lic.# 623296 (Inactive) and Arizona Lic.# ROC107974 (Inactive), #ROC107979 (Inactive) and #ROC204758 (Qualifying Party)).

HUGHES RESERVES prides itself on the personalized service it provides to our clients. Our component study presentation includes “what if” scenarios via a computerized presentation wherein the client can actually adjust the schedule of maintenance as well as the funding plan on the spot. This provides our clients with a clearer understanding and appreciation of the component budget and how it influences the overall budget process. With Civil Codes changing as well as the advent of improved methods of maintenance, reserve budgeting is a learning experience even for the seasoned Board of Directors.
